Monument to Mosè Bianchi
Monument to Mosè Bianchi was commissioned from sculptor Luigi Secchi, a close friend of the painter, who only completed the model. After Secchi’s death in 1921, the monument was erected thanks to a petition by his student, Piero Da Verno. It was unveiled on April 4, 1927. The statue shows Bianchi seated with a palette in one hand. In April 2023, the monument underwent two months of restoration work, including mechanical and chemical cleaning to remove years of grime from the bronze and stone sections.
