Monument to the Victims of Fascism in Novi Sad

Monument to the Victims of Fascism in Novi Sad is a memorial sculpture located on Sunčani kej, the Danube quay in Novi Sad, Serbia. Also known as the Monument to the Victims of the Raid and as La Famille, it marks the site of the January Raid, when around a thousand citizens of Novi Sad were executed by the Hungarian occupation forces. The bronze composition, titled La Famille, was created by sculptor Jovan Soldatović and unveiled in 1971. It was later completed in 1992 with 78 additional bronze plaques, including inscriptions in Serbian and Hebrew, victim lists, and symbolic plaques with Stars of David, crosses, and a Serbian cross. The monument was restored in 2004.
