Gen. Beauregard Equestrian Statue
Gen. Beauregard Equestrian Statue is an equestrian sculpture honoring Pierre Gustave Toutant de Beauregard, created by Alexander Doyle. It was officially unveiled in 1915 in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the main entrance to City Park on Beauregard Circle. The statue was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. In 2017, it was removed as part of a wave of dismantlings of Confederate monuments, and a time capsule was discovered during the process.
