Bust of George Washington in Warsaw
Bust of George Washington in Warsaw is a bronze monument in Warsaw, Poland, located at Washington Roundabout in the Saska Kępa neighbourhood of Praga-South. Dedicated to George Washington, it was created by Bronisław Koniuszy and Bronisław Kubica and unveiled on 27 October 1989. The monument consists of a bronze bust mounted on a granite socle and stands about 2 m tall. Its design is based on the depiction of Washington on the United States one-dollar bill, while the socle is arranged to imitate the flag of the United States. The inscription on the base reads JERZY WASZYNGTON, with the dates 1732 and 1799.
