War Never Again

War Never Again is a sculpture erected in Żabikowo, a district of Luboń, Poland, on the site of the former German internment camp of Żabikowo, which operated from 1943 to 1945. Sculpted by Józef Gosławski, it was made of granite and sandstone. The monument was inaugurated on 4 November 1956 by the Polish general Zygmunt Berling. It shows a man embracing a woman and a child, and bears the inscription “War never again” (Polish: NIGDY WOJNY).
