Bust of Pushkin in Chernihiv
Bust of Pushkin in Chernihiv was a local monument of monumental art in Chernihiv, later removed from state register. It was a bronze bust of the poet, made in the workshop of artistic bronze by K. Berto and placed on a black marble and granite pedestal designed by local writer and artist H. A. Kovalenko. The monument stood in Pushkin Square, laid out in 1884 near the provincial archive building. The initiative to create it arose during the nationwide commemorations of Pushkin in 1899, and the square was named after him that year. The monument was dismantled on 30 April 2022 and transferred to the historical museum.
