Equestrian Statue of Alexander Suvorov

The equestrian statue of Alexander Suvorov is a mounted monument located in Suvorov Square, formerly Constitution Square, in Tiraspol. According to Alla Melnichuk, director of the Tiraspol Joint Museum, it is considered one of the best artistically among the monuments to Suvorov on the territory of the former USSR. The sculpture is an important local landmark and a notable monument to the military leader Alexander Suvorov.
